5th Annual Bacon and Brew HaHa Fundraiser – ALL AGES!
October 22, 2017 @ 12:00 pm
$25 in advance/$30 day of show
Do you love beer? Do you love bacon? Do you think I’m cray for even asking at this point? Then do we have an event for you! Get ready to combine the two greatest loves in America (bacon and beer of course) in an event to benefit an awesome local charity.
The Bacon and Brew Ha Ha is exactly as it sounds: an everything’s better with bacon day combined with a home brew festival and contest. As a guest, expect to sample awesome home brewed beers as well as every type of food imaginable with the special ingredient…BACON! The last event had everything from candied bacon to bacon cinnamon buns as well as bacon popcorn and waffles with bacon. Admission will be $30 for food/alcoholic beverage sampling and $15 for food/non alcoholic beverage sampling. All ages to attend, 21 to drink.
Want to participate? You’ve got two ways to get involved: food or beer. Both entrants are encouraged to use their imagination to create something unique and exciting as they will be judged on taste, appearance, and originality. Can I get a bacon root beer please? Entry costs are a $20 donation for your first entry and $10 for each additional.
So what does this benefit exactly? Meet Elliott aka Little Man, our good friend’s son. It surely takes a village to raise a child, and this instance we are happy to help. With Cerebral Palsy and other disabilities Elliott has mobility limitations. The Elliott’s New Wheels Fund hopes to raise money for to get a wheelchair accessible van. His success thus far in life has been astounding, but as he grows the challenges will be greater. With help from people like you and me we can help continue to support Elliott as he grows and continues his development.
